Credits
Watching your balance
Where the number lives, why it dips before a result arrives, and whose credits you are actually spending.
Your balance sits in the top bar of the board, beside Share. Click it for the plan and top-up options. The number updates as runs reserve and settle, so it moves during a session rather than at the end of one. ## Reserved is not spent Credits come off the balance the moment you press Run and settle only when the result lands. That gap is real on a long job. A video render holds its credits for the couple of minutes it takes, and during that window your balance reads lower than what you have actually spent. If the run fails, the hold is released. Showing it that way means the number on screen is always what you can commit to the next run. :::note[Two people, one pool] In a team workspace everyone draws from the same balance, so it moves when colleagues work. A number that dropped while you were reading is usually somebody else's video, not an error. ::: ## Whose credits these are The balance belongs to the **workspace** you are in, not to you. - In your personal workspace, the credits are yours alone - In a team workspace, there is one shared pool and everyone spends from it Switching workspace switches the balance you see, along with the boards and the library. If a number looks wrong, the first thing to check is which workspace the board belongs to. You can move credits from your own wallet into a team's pool. That transfer is one directional, so send what the team needs rather than the lot. ## Reading the pill before you spend The number beside Run on any tool card is that run's price at the current settings. Change the model, the size or the duration and it moves before you commit. The top bar tells you what you have and the pill tells you what the next run costs. :::tip[Check the price after swapping a model] Glance at the pill after swapping a model pill, not before. Swapping is where the price jumps, and it is the one change people make without looking, because it feels like a small adjustment rather than a different engine. ::: ## Rollover and top-ups Unused credits carry into the next month rather than resetting to your monthly figure, up to a ceiling that depends on your plan. Credits you bought outright, along with top-ups and referral rewards, sit outside that ceiling and are not swept. Top-ups are available when a month runs heavier than usual.
